The Bourg Booklet Maker (BM-e) is C.P. Bourg’s premium award winning booklet maker that utilizes the latest technology with unparalleled quality and speed to produce on-demand booklets. The paper flow follows a stitch–fold–trim process with guaranteed set integrity, a maximum of 120 pages per booklet (30 sheets) and a maximum speed of 5,000 booklets/hour – the best of its category.
Large sheet sizes of 370 x 600 mm (14.57 x 23.62 in) can be processed through the BM-e with ease and create, for example, oversized B3 calendars formats and A4 (US letter) landscape booklets.
Within the BM-e, the paper-path can follow either a right to left process - and work In-Line with the HP Indigo 5500, 5600 and 7000 Series Digital presses for example - or a left to right process - and work In-Line with Xerox printers for example- offering a great flexibility!
Furthermore, the color touchscreen interface (GUI) and the automated tool-less set-up capability makes the booklet maker very easy to use.
The BM-e responds to the needs of commercial printers and in-plant printing institutions that have shorter turnaround time, smaller job runs and tightening budgets.
Paired with the BSF (Bourg Sheet Feeder)
For customers hesitating between Off-Line and In-Line finishing, C.P. Bourg offers the best of both worlds with the Dual-Mode Bourg Sheet Feeder (BSF). It allows multiple printers/presses to share one finishing device. Positioned In-Line between a printer/press and the finishing equipment, the BSF allows digital and offset print shops with different printers to easily shift and/or merge job production using the Dual-Mode (by shifting between In-Line and Off-Line/Near-Line modes), achieving productivity increases while maintaining integrity of collated output.
The BSF consists of two feeding stations which allows for a wide range of applications and flexibility. Thanks to the innovative air-table design, the lower feeding station has the capacity to accept a trolley fully stacked with collated sets of paper directly from a Canon/Océ, HP, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Xerox, etc. trolley/cart/pallet. No manual transfer of heavy stacks of collated paper sets from stacker carts to a sheet feeder is required. The cart/trolley is easily inserted in the machine. This results in increased productivity and reduces the risk of damaged sheets, stacking errors and personal injuries.
The top feeding station has the capacity to load up to 140 mm (5.51 in) of printed papers, laminated or coated materials. The paper is then fed using suction belt and air separation technology, enabling high feeding speeds of up to 18,000 sheets/hour even when media is waved or curled.
The BSF is the only one in its category capable of handling a wide range of media sizes from 203,2 x 120 mm (8 x 4.72 in) to 660,4 x 364 mm (26 x 14.33 in): the perfect complement to most digital printers/presses.
Note: Buyers premium is 10% If invoice is paid by Check, ACH, eCheck or Wire. Due to fraud, credit cards will only be accepted for current customers with a 3% up-charge. New customers the easiest way to pay is to send us an image of your company check, which we will process as an eCheck. Fast, easy, and zero costs to process.
Lots will end 2 minutes apart unless they are extended in 5-minute increments by a new bid in the last 5 minutes.

We are selling the best assets of multiple printing companies in one auction. We DO NOT provide any warranties or guarantees. All items are presumed to be in working condition when taken out of service. Printer Strategies strongly encourages bidders to come and inspect the items in person, or to send a representative to evaluate the item(s) for their own self-interest.
Please see Shipping Details for more information on how to get the items shipped to winning bidders at the close of the auction. One important note is that as always, we will load your truck or help you arrange transport, and corner boards / stretch wrap are included with the winning bid. The majority of equipment is located in our warehouse in St. Charles Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. We are 15 minutes from the airport and centrally located near many major US highways. We welcome you to come see lots in person prior to bidding. For those not visiting, we have done our best to provide as much information about these items as possible. The descriptions are taken primarily from the manufacturer’s website. There are things we do not have perfect knowledge of because features change. When there is a discrepancy between the written description and the actual item, the photographs will win out. You are bidding on the items in the photographs, not the written descriptions. Please make sure to look over ALL images. All listings show the actual location of the items, should you want to inspect an item not at our St. Charles warehouse, contact us to help you set that up.
Special Notice International Bidders: We greatly appreciate your business. In the past, we have tried to work with you on payment and shipping. We have no problem with holding equipment for up to 30 days for shipping, but it MUST be PAID for within 3 DAYS. Buyer’s Premium: You agree to pay a buyer’s premium of 10% of the hammer price in addition to the hammer price of a lot you win. This premium will be added to the hammer price in your invoice.

All Items located in the Printer Strategies warehouse in St. Charles MO will be loaded onto a truck at no additional cost. If we can put your item on a standard 40 x 48 skid, we will do so for no additional cost. This service includes band strapping, corner boards, and stretch wrap as needed. We continue to offer custom pallets and packaging (i.e. crating) however those services will be by quote. Items on wheels can be packaged with corner boards and stretch wrap, and then blanket wrapped and strapped to the truck at no additional cost over that of the truck. As always, Printer Strategies is happy to assist in arranging shipping, or you may arrange your own, including free pick ups. For items not at the Printer Strategies location, please see auction listing for shipping details.
Firm shipping quotes that we provide will be after payment for your winning bid. Estimates available anytime. Once the auction is paid, we will pack the item per your requirements (i.e. on wheels for blanket wrapped and strapped, on a pallet for LTL, disassembled for personal pickup) and provide you with the dimensions and weights of your items. If we are arranging your shipping, we will provide you a second invoice for shipping only once you have approved the quote, or you may set up your own shipping with the weights and dims / pictures of packed goods per your request. This is a 2 step process because we cannot know in advance how you would like your item(s) shipped, but we will work with you to make it simple.
