Roland DG Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers, printer/cutters and vinyl cutters, has introduced the CAMM-1 PRO Series GX-640 64" vinyl cutter.

Building on 23 years of advanced CAMM-1 technology, the GX-640 is Roland's largest and most advanced cutter ever, setting a new standard for performance and precision across media ranging from vinyl and polyester to Mylar, polyurethane, sand blast, twill and flock. The GX-640 outperforms other cutters on the market today with a new generation of servo motor technology, superior media handling, and powerful integrated design and output software for both stand-alone cutting and print-then-cut workflows. The GX-640 joins Roland's CAMM-1 PRO cutter line which also includes 50," 40" and 30" models.

"Within the automotive restyling industry, the CAMM-1 PRO is widely recognized as the leading cutter line for personalizing cars, trucks, boats, trailers, RVs and motorcycles with logos, decals, pinstripes and other graphics," said Midori Sugiyama, Roland DG cutting product manager. "At 64" wide, the GX-640 also cuts window tint and paint protection film in virtually any size and shape. New powerful servo motors and a "heavy mode" setting guarantee results on the largest, heaviest media rolls, including paint mask."

As a CAMM-1 PRO cutter, the GX-640 offers full integration with VersaWorks RIP software, included with every Roland wide-format inkjet printer. As a result, the GX-640 can be paired with a Roland printer to produce custom t-shirt heat transfers, full-color POP displays, signs, vehicle wraps, labels and decals. The GX-640 features Roland's optical registration system, Quadralign®, which reads crop marks on pre-printed data and accurately aligns the graphic. This allows the GX-640 to automatically contour cut pre-printed designs with precision.

Roland CAMM-1 PRO GX-640 Features:

‐ Supports 64”-wide media, large enough for virtually any vehicle wrap, window tint or paint protection job

‐ Powerful new servo motor technology and a “heavy mode” handle large, heavy media rolls, including sand blast materials

‐ New “pre-feed” function ensures proper feeding of heavy media by automatically drawing one meter of media through the device before cutting

‐ High-performance cutting speed and blade force for precision handling of a wide range of media, including long rolls of thick and thin materials.

‐ Full integration with VersaWorks, Roland’s easy-to-use RIP software, for pairing with our inkjet printers

‐ Cutting data for pre-printed graphics is output from VersaWorks directly to the GX-640

‐ The GX-640 recognizes printed crop marks, making it fast and easy to contour cut full-color graphics

‐ Includes CutStudio, Roland's feature-rich design software

Roland CutStudio Software

CAMM-1 PRO cutters come with the latest version of CutStudio, Roland's powerful, easy-to-use design software. With CutStudio, users can draw or edit circles and curves, add text along an arc, and import photos and graphics in jpg or bmp. In addition, CutStudio allows users to combine rectangles, circles, polygons, lines and curves for more sophisticated graphics. CutStudio is compatible with Windows 7/VISTA/XP and includes plug-in software for Adobe® Illustrator® CS2/CS3/CS4, CorelDRAW® X3/X4/X5 for Windows, and Adobe® Illustrator® CS2/CS3/CS4 for Mac. As a result, users of these programs can send data directly to the CAMM-1 PRO.

We are selling the best assets of multiple printing companies in one auction. We DO NOT provide any warranties or guarantees. All items are presumed to be in working condition when taken out of service. Printer Strategies strongly encourages bidders to come and inspect the items in person, or to send a representative to evaluate the item(s) for their own self-interest.

Please see Shipping Details for more information on how to get the items shipped to winning bidders at the close of the auction. One important note is that as always, we will load your truck or help you arrange transport, and corner boards / stretch wrap are included with the winning bid. Also, a standard 40x48 pallet with strapping is included with your winning lot for free if your item fits.

The majority of equipment is located in our warehouse in St. Charles Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. We are 15 minutes from the airport and centrally located near many major US highways. We welcome you to come see lots in person prior to bidding. For those not visiting, we have done our best to provide as much information about these items as possible. The descriptions are taken primarily from the manufacturer’s website. There are things we do not have perfect knowledge of because features change. When there is a discrepancy between the written description and the actual item, the photographs will win out. You are bidding on the items in the photographs, not the written descriptions. Please make sure to look over ALL images. All listings show the actual location of the items, should you want to inspect an item not at our St. Charles warehouse, contact us to help you set that up.

Special Notice International Bidders: We greatly appreciate your business. In the past, we have tried to work with you on payment and shipping. We have no problem with holding equipment for up to 30 days for shipping, but it MUST be PAID for within 3 DAYS. We will work with you on trying to complete a container, but PLEASE do not bid if you cannot meet these conditions. We do not like to re-list items!

Payment Deadline is 3 Business Days after auction closes.

Items purchased and not picked up or delivered within 30 days are subject to storage charges unless previous arrangements are made. Items purchased and not picked up within 3 months will be considered abandoned and will be forfeit unless other arrangements are made in writing with PS.

Terms: All items are sold as is. We do not provide any warranties or guarantees unless given in writing in advance by PS. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to read all the Seller’s terms and conditions, including the terms listed in the description under each listing. Some items may be refurbished or otherwise may provide some guarantees, if so, that will be clearly noted in the item description. Those guarantees only exist for that specific item.

Binding Contract: If you are the highest bidder on a lot when the lot closes, you agree to purchase that lot for the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium.

Buyer’s Premium: You agree to pay a buyer’s premium of 10% of the hammer price in addition to the hammer price of a lot you win. This premium will be added to the hammer price in your invoice.

Payment: Full payment must be received by the seller before the payment deadline. You have Three (3) business days from the day the auction closes to make payment. Please do not bid if you cannot secure payment by the payment deadline. Your account will be flagged in the event of a non-payment. Please only bid on items you can follow thru and purchase, we hate re-listing items!

Pickups at our St. Charles warehouse are always free, and we have both dock and drive up doors, as well as outside access and forklifts to load your truck, trailer, or flat bed. Commercial trucks are welcome, and you can set them up directly or we can assist you.

All Items located in the Printer Strategies warehouse in St. Charles MO will be loaded onto a truck at no additional cost. If we can put your item on a standard 40 x 48 skid, we will do so for no additional cost. This service includes band strapping, corner boards, and stretch wrap as needed. We continue to offer custom pallets and packaging (i.e. crating) however those services will be by quote. Items on wheels can be packaged with corner boards and stretch wrap, and then blanket wrapped and strapped to the truck at no additional cost over that of the truck. Firm shipping quotes that we provide will be after payment for your winning bid. Estimates available anytime. Once the auction is paid, we will pack the item per your requirements (i.e. on wheels for blanket wrapped and strapped, on a pallet for LTL, disassembled for personal pickup) and provide you with the dimensions and weights of your items. If we are arranging your shipping, we will provide you a second invoice for shipping only once you have approved the quote, or you may set up your own shipping with the weights and dims / pictures of packed goods per your request. This is a 2 step process because we cannot know in advance how you would like your item(s) shipped, but we will work with you to make it simple.
