Description

  • Manufacturer: Therm-O-Type
  • Model: SFM
    • Foil Stamping Press
  • Serial Number: 0203

  • THERM-O-TYPE Foil Stamping Equipment - Foil Stamping Presses. The SFM is the latest evolution of the SF series foil presses introduced by THERM-O-TYPE in 1987. The SFM replaces both the Super SF-2000 / SF-2005 presses.
  • Laid out like an offset press, the SFM is easy to operate. When running two, three or four up business card strips, the SFM uses the same gripper as an offset press and can bleed off three sides. Impression adjustment, makeready, registration adjustments, temperature control, double and skip sheet features are standard and easy to use. A centralized lubrication system is installed to minimize down time and simplify maintenance.
  • The SFM is a high speed, sheet fed foil stamping press. Flat foil, foil and blind embossing, die cutting, "kiss" cutting, perforating, numbering, imprinting, can be produced on the SFM. Using a holographic foil registration option, holograms can also be imprinted.
  • Additional SFM features include: air blast foil separation, foil tension control clutch, digital heat control, electronic counter with interrupt, die chase quick release/lock up, DC speed control, impression pressure adjustment, mechanical paper registration and more.
  • Impression pressure on the SFM is over 30% higher than the SF-2000 /SF-2005 presses.
  • An optional Holographic Foil Registration System is available for the SFM. This computerized foil control includes even and un-even foil draw, compensating and non-compensating holographic registration programs for maximum control and flexibility.
  • For high production, long run shops, an optional slow delivery conveyor is available. This option allows one operator to easily run two SFM presses at one time.
  • High production speed, exceptionally fast set up, and ease of operation make the SFM a powerful production tool.
