Boggs Equipment was founded in the early 1980s as part of Boggs Metals & Equipment, a business established by Jack L. Boggs to serve the printing and industrial equipment markets. In 2005, the company was intentionally divided into two independent operations, with Boggs Equipment continuing as a dedicated used printing, bindery, packaging, and mailing equipment business.
Since that time, Boggs Equipment has specialized in the purchase, resale, and asset disposition of used printing, bindery, packaging, and mailing equipment for customers across the United States and internationally. The company works directly with printers, manufacturers, and mail houses on individual machine sales, full facility cleanouts, and surplus equipment projects.
Jack Boggs, founder and owner, spent more than five decades in the equipment industry and served as President of Boggs Equipment for many years. Today, day to day operations are led by Chris Boggs, President, who has worked alongside Jack at Boggs Equipment since 2005.
Boggs Equipment operates from its Cleveland, Ohio facility and maintains more than 100,000 square feet of warehouse and storage space dedicated to used equipment inventory, processing, and staging. The company also maintains in house trucking capabilities, including semi trucks and box trucks equipped with lift gates, allowing efficient coordination of equipment pickups and deliveries.
